Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA):
Introduction
The
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification will advance your career by ensuring that you have the skills to successfully manage and troubleshoot system environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
The MCSA on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 is an independent certification for Windows Server 2003 developed by Microsoft. It is suitable for IT professionals working in the typically complex computing environment of medium-to-large organizations. An
MCSA on Windows Server 2003 is expected to have at least 1 year of experience implementing and administering a network operating system.
The Windows Server 2003 certification requirements for MCSA differ from those for
MCSA on Windows 2000. Thus, it is necessary to complete the entire Windows 2000 track or the entire Windows Server 2003 track in order to become certified as an
MCSA. However, if you complete your MCSA certification in Windows 2000, you can avail an upgrade path that will enable you to update your certification to Windows Server 2003.
